DZone Motorsport TV is a motorsport blog and YouTube channel from Barbados focused on all things racing.
Over the course of the weekend (June 2nd), every competitor (or almost all of them) gathered at Simpson Motors in Warrens, St. Michael from 1 to 8pm for scrutineering. For those of you that don’t know what this is, it’s basically inspection to make sure all of the cars competing for the 2 weekends meet all safety requirements. It’s also a chance for fans to see the cars up close and talk with the drivers.
Scrutineering is held before the first weekend event which is the SOL Go Further/Scotiabank King of the Hill (June 3rd).
While I was killing time at scrutineering, I took a few photos with the phone from my camera. Don’t worry about the quality, the DSLR is coming soon.
You’ll see a few pictures after the jump.

After coming back from the 1/8th mile drag racing event at the local track (which was ended prematurely because of rain), I decided to check out what was going on at the Chefette Speed Team Launch which was winding down as I got there. Here are some of the photos I managed to get.

More photos after the jump.
